Every time we take a look at Kelly Osbourne, it amazes us at how thin she has now become. From being someone who was made fun of due to her heavy weight and wild ways, Kelly definitely has changed. No one could have predicted this huge change in this Osbourne’s little kid. This week, since it’s Fashion Week, Miss Kelly not just made appearances but was widely noticed and spoken about for her fashion taste. Just take a look at what she has been wearing all week, looks good doesn’t it? Her confidence and new look has definitely made reporters and fashionistas stand up and notice, also because Kelly attended almost every runway show at Fashion Week, it would be a bit hard not to notice her.

At the L.A.M.B. show, Kelly wore a skintight black latex outfit and at the Michael Angel show, she opted for a pale, ruffled dress with her cute pooch. With the “The Wizard of Oz” soundtrack blasting the showroom, Marc Jacob’s designs were calmly shown off. The Marc Jacobs’s show which was dubbed by the New York Times as a wistful beauty was a very calm and soothing event with his models showing off the collection that consisted of decent and charming clothes. It all started with the models and their outfits being in a giant box and then Marc Jacobs himself came and tore away the cover of that giant box thus announcing the beginning of his show.

The clothes showcased included triangular coats over calf-length wide skirts that were in Nordic-sky blue and cloud-gray colors. Others of his collections came across as modern and well-made. These include a cloud of a sweater above a midcalf culotte skirt and coats in wool. There was some fur present which made its presence in the fluffy bags on sturdy chain handles. This somehow made the show take a different turn from the previous showcase of calmness designs. Backstage, the great design quoted “It’s about love and about hope”. And that’s what fashion shows are about.

Aside from being famous, many celebrities tend to put their name, time and money into something more valuable, say like Charity. One such celebrity who needs no introduction is Miss Oprah Winfrey. This time it’s something different, she’s auctioning clothes that girls of any size can wear. For this to be possible, Oprah teamed up with Adam Glassman who is her O magazine creative director. Together they will take items from her walk-in closet and auction them off on eBay starting March 1. It is said to be around 150 items including a Bottega Veneta bag, red suede peep-toe Prada heels (size 9) and a chic quilted Chanel evening bag.

Also on the list are Carolina Herrera dress, satin Jimmy Choo pumps (size 9) and pointy-toe Prada boots. Whatever is earned from the sale will directly go to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for girls in South Africa.

This school which was opened in 2007 is meant for African girls who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Miuccia Prada has just unveiled their line of crystal bags intended for Summer 2010. In general, Prada stuffs are not what everyone can afford but if you can then good for you. Before this lineup, there was the one of embellished clothes with crystals. The crystal bags are hoping to make themselves useful and sellable during this summer. When creating his designs, Alexander Wang always keeps in mind comfort and sensuality of the urban girls out there. These two qualities were well shown in his last seasons’ collections which include soft cashmere T-shirts for the ladies that can be worn almost everywhere from work to a picnic.
At Pier 94 yesterday, Mr. Wang showed off his new designs which include charcoal and pinstripe suiting. It is different from what we have been expecting specially the blazers showed which were cut out to to midriffs and somehow they have been made into tails. The designs that we appreciated are the ones of the fine cut-out trousers and woolen shorts. Following those were the blazers which again disappointed in terms of both of creativity and design. Also presented were backpacks which had chiffon ribbons hanging from them, kinda giving out a cute look. Finally, the Alexander Wang show ended with a sequence of draped minidresses. These looked like if they were specially designed for his girls like Erin Wasson and Victoria Traina. And will definitely look hot on good-looking thighs.
