At the Paris Fashion Week, we saw a different version of fashion there; one that we quite like. The new age woman was seen in all kinds of getup including the hourglass beauty queen, clean queen and the drama queen. You can say we’ve had too much of strong coffee and devoured tasty baguettes while we were there but the whole package is what made the Paris Fashion Week different and exciting. Now that the Paris Fashion Week is over, we’ll have to go back to our normal cup of coffee and normal bread (sigh!).
Let’s close up fashion week in Paris by summarizing what managed to take our breaths away.

At the Louis Vuitton show, March Jacobs opted for older and curvier models such as the beautiful Elle Macpherson and Laetitia Casta who walked the ramp wearing fabrics that fit their bodies well and not forgetting the Jacobs’ favorite, furs. The main concept of this show was not to make these ladies look vulgar but to show their voluptuous side. We need to take a break and get ourselves some regular coffee, we’ll be back with the next post on the Paris Fashion Week.

Good news for Gucci fans out there, Gucci has finally announced that their new line of handbags will be out soon in early spring. We have spoken about these bags in our previous post and gave you all a little sneak peek on what to expect and now the excitement can begin, as you will be able to touch one of these bags and feel them. These handbags, as reported earlier, are made of a rare combination of Gucci’s classical designs with rare leathers that Gucci will implement in these handbags’ designs.

We all know that crocodile’s skins and the raw python skins have been Gucci’s trademark for a long time and we are honestly glad that Gucci decided to spice things up with their new line of handbags. The designs will also have the special conception from Frida Giannin who happens to be Gucci’s Creative Director for sale bags. These new Gucci Handbags will be available in Gucci outlets everywhere.

Famous singer Madonna in her newest venture is teaming up with daughter Lourdes to create a fashion line for teenage girls. The new line will debut exclusively at Macy’s. If it was the Madonna 20 years back back then, we would have been appalled if she was trying to dress up these little girls then but seeing Lourdes now with her amazing sense of fashion, we are slightly confident that this line wouldn’t come out as slutty as Madonna looked back in the 80’s (no offence Madonna).

The Cornell University with a team of researchers have developed a technique to permanently coat cotton fibers with electrically conductive nanoparticles. The outcome will be to make cotton electronically conductive and at the same time, continuing to be lightweight, flexible, and comfortable.

Reporters and onlookers who attended the Parish fashion week noticed that Lindsay wasn’t present at the Emanuel Ungaro’s show. If you weren’t aware of it, Lindsay has been working with the fashion company as an artistic advisor (whatever that means) for quite some time. This piece of news was actually a rumor for quite some time and buzz was that the people over at the fashion company couldn’t stand Lohan’s unprofessionalism. It was finally confirmed by Lindsay herself who responded to questions on why she didn’t attend the fashion house’s show in Paris.

We are not referring to the fact that this Gossip Girl star is dating the insatiable Penn Badgely (also a Gossip Girl star) but Miss Blake has recently revealed in an interview that she owns about 300 pairs of shoes. Can’t believe it? Well, almost every star owns about the same and Mariah Carey has probably the most. Remember Oprah was recently auctioning some of hers off because her show got canceled (where else would she wear the shoes to).

They have been rocking the fashion industry for some time now specially with their fashionable leather items. During 2000, Mulberry switched designers and Nicholas Knightly was brought in to create new designs for the brand. Later on, his designs were a sold out among buyers in several countries. While attending the Philadelphia fashion week event, we found ourselves seated in the Cory Couture show. Honestly speaking the show was a bit confusing. There was just too much going on, too much for us to handle. Speaking on too much, somehow there were models standing at the back wearing only boxers, we were wondering why? Anyways, more on the show, the item that caught our eyes were the sexy black dress, how we wished we had one of these or least fit in one of these.
