How Hats made it into Fashion

A brief history
A long time ago, hats were worn to protect oneself from injuries, such as rocks or natural elements. Soon it developed into symbols of beauty and status of authority making head coverings become a fashion as it is the first thing that will catch someone’s eyes. Since 1700, hats have existed in France and Britain. During that period it was considered disgraceful for a lady, whatever her status, rich or poor, to go out without a hat.

Are Hats Important to wear
In certain weather conditions it is important to cover the head as some body heat is lost through the head. Head covering is mostly important for babies in particular, as they lose heat rapidly through the head. A baby or toddler should have a warm covered head in winter.

The Disintegration of Hat Wearing
As the years went by, hats lost their allure. Very few ladies wore them for weddings and to attend the church.

Hats for Special Occasions
Hats became popular again in the 1980s for weddings and special occasions.
Hats are worn today for a special dressy occasion such as a wedding or for a special event. Fashion designers are working hard to make hats become the joie de vivre in modern fashion.

Prada makes Profit

No, this is not a new product from the famous fashion house but what we are reporting here is the profits that Prada achieved this year. The global recession has affected everyone but not apparently Prada and its buyers. This is also a huge relief for the fashion world as financial analyzers were worried that the economic downturn would affect the fashion industry.

We definitely have to note here that Prada’s items whether it’s the clothes or shoes, they are not that cheap to purchase. Prada itself is not just a normal fashion company, it’s one of the first class luxury brands in the fashion world and it is owned by designer, Miuccia Prada and her husband, Patrizio Bertelli. The couple are very private and hardly give out interviews but they don’t hide the company’s losses or profits thus explaining this news. Prada has always kept their fashion line expanding whether it’s the shoes or the handbags.

Infusion de Tubéreuse from Prada

Prada recently launched its new fragrance called Infusion de Tubéreuse. This fragrance was launched together with the one intended for men, which is called Infusion de Vétiver. Both fragrances are the latest ones in Prada’s Ephemeral Infusion collection.

The Infusion de Tubéreuse fragrance comes in a pretty package. The package is basically inspired and based on a particular old print from the archives of the best Prada textile. That particular design consists of flower petals, a bit mixed in ink and somehow imprinted on the carton. The whole package looks very much like a 1970s fragrance package which gives out a very nice feeling. The perfume comes from a blend of Indian tuberose, petitgrain bigararde, Italian blood orange and dynamone.

Already Prada’s Ephemeral Infusion collection is a huge hit among fans and no doubt, the new fragrance will also receive the same overwhelming response. The Prada Infusion de Tubéreuse is available in stores now at the price of €67 for 50mls.
