“It’s time to be bold”, said designer Miuccia Prada and away went her models down the runway wearing colorful stripy suits, amazing bright shoes, sun frocks and simple but elegant handbags. Plus included are the huge sunhats and fake fur accessories. This is what Miuccia Prada channeled; a vibrant Latin American spirit at Milan Fashion week. Certainly, that was Prada’s collection for Spring/Summer 2011.
In contrast to the Prada Fall/ Winter 2010/2011 collection, this Spring/Summer was said to be more colorful, fresher and looks more youthful. There was neon hues playing with elaborate cartoonish prints as well as bold flesh-exposing designs together unusual shoes and chic colored fur tails.
The clothes in this collection are exceptionally sexy, fun, and completely wearable even the heavyweight practical Japanese cotton. There were all kinds of jackets with different kinds of colors on the runway along with thick, striped, rubber-soled sneaker-styled shoes.
